Today, wear t-shirts is cool. But just 60 years ago, it was not acceptable for people to wear

T-shirts in public. T-shirts were underewear!

Junior High School in the USA

Like most students, they go to school in a traditional yellow school bus. They are the safest form of transport in America. In some US states you can drive when you're 16, so some kids drive to school!

When you finish middle schoool, there is a big graduation ceremony, with speches. The school Principal gives you your diploma. All the students wear a "mortarboard" and gown. The gowns are usualy black, blue or red. At ethe end of the ceremony, everybody throws their caps up in the air!

Many middle schools have cheerleaders. These girls learn chants and complicated acrobatics. They "cheer" the school's sports teams during games.

Tokyo Hotel

The "sleep capsules" in this hotel in Tokyo are only two square metres! You can sit up and read or work, or lie down and watch the television. A perfect place to stay... if you're not claustrophobic!

Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake is a great singer, dancer and performer. He's one of the world's hottest stars today.
He has changed his "good-boy" image with his second album, FutureSex: Love sounds. With a title like that, it's no surprise that people call him the sexiest pop star in the world. Justin says: "I'd rather people listen to what I've created. But if they think I'm sexy, that's very flattering."
Justin was the voice of Prince Artur in Shrek 3.
He was never popular at school, he says: "I was a loner because I was interested in music. I was not cool."

Daniel Radcliffe's dream car.

Thanks to the Harry Potter films, Daniel Radcliffe is now the richest teenager in Britain. But Daniel Radcliffe's dream car is not a Rolls-Royce, a Porsche or a Ferrari. It's a Fiat Punto! Daniel is concerned about the environment, and the Fiat Punto is one of the top five "green" cars in Britain.
